These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jaunt mobile application and related services ("Jaunt", "the app", "the Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Jaunt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and, where available, the Google Play Store (each, an "App Store"). Your download and use of the app is also subject to the relevant App Store's terms.
Jaunt is a personal travel app that helps you organise trips, bookings, segments, and budgets, and that offers AI-assisted features — including reading booking details from photos you add, and generating suggested day-by-day trip plans ("Scout" / the AI travel planner). The app may also show links to third-party travel providers where you can search and book travel yourself (see §8).
You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; access it by automated means or in excess of intended limits; reverse-engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as permitted; upload unlawful content; or attempt to circumvent usage limits, security, or the subscription/entitlement system. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Jaunt offers an optional paid subscription ("Globetrotter") that unlocks additional features such as unlimited AI trip plans and AI refinement. The free tier ("Scout") includes a limited allowance of AI plans.
Jaunt's AI features (photo auto-fill, suggested itineraries, suggested options, and any prices, durations, or availability shown) are generated automatically and are provided for convenience and as estimates only. They:
You remain responsible for your travel decisions. We are not liable for actions taken in reliance on AI-generated content, to the extent permitted by law.
You keep ownership of the content you create in the app (trips, notes, photos, and similar). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to sync it across your devices or to run AI auto-fill on a photo you choose to add). You are responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to use it. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Jaunt may show links to third-party travel services (such as flight, accommodation, and activity providers or search sites). These are provided to help you search and book travel.
The app, its name, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them except the limited right to use the app under these Terms.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from third-party services or from reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you keep the protections of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law. You can cancel any subscription as described in §5.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rules that allow you to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
